Born in 1976 in Izmir, Gamze Tanrıöver graduated from Antalya High School in 1993. In 1998, she graduated from Hacettepe University, Faculty of Science, Department of Biology and received her master's thesis on "Distribution of some adhesion molecules in the cerebral cortex of the human fetus" in 2003. With a scholarship from the Ministry of National Education, he worked for 5 months at the Department of Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, University of Oslo in a project titled "Brainstem Genetics". Between 2006-2008, he completed his doctoral dissertation on "The role of PDCD10 (Ccm3) gene in the formation of cerebral cavernous malformation" at the Neurovascular Genetics Laboratories of the Department of Neurosurgery, Yale University School of Medicine under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Murat Günel. In 2009, he received the title of doctor of science. In 2010, she became a specialist doctor, in 2012 an associate professor and in 2018 a professor at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology. Prof. Dr. Gamze Tanrıöver has more than 80 international publications, a chapter in the books 'Molecular Neurology" and "Unraveling the Complexities of Metastasis“ and many scientific awards given by various associations and institutions. Prof. Dr. Gamze Tanrıöver served as an Advisory Board Member of Tübitak Health Sciences Research Support Group (SBAG) for 3 years. For 2 years, she has been serving as a Group Executive Committee Member in the same board. She is also a faculty member in the Department of Medical Biotechnology. Prof. Dr. Gamze Tanrıöver teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Central Nervous System, Endocrine System, Stem Cell and Tumor Biology. Her main research interests are ”tumor biology“ and she conducts research on in vitro and in vivo modeling of breast cancer and its metastases and glioblastoma tumor. Dr. Gamze Tanrıöver is married and has one child.

Gamze Güney Eskiler received her bachelor's degree from Eskişehir Osmangazi University, Department of Biology in 2008. She completed her master's degree at Anadolu University, Department of Advanced Technologies in 2011 and her PhD degree at Bursa Uludağ University, Department of Medical Biology in 2017. His doctoral thesis was awarded the best doctoral thesis award in the field of Health Sciences at the Higher Education Council Outstanding Achievement Awards 2018. In Sakarya University, Department of Medical Biology, he received the title of “Dr. Faculty Member” in 2019, “Associate Professor” in 2020 and Professor in 2025. In 2022, he was awarded the TÜBA-Superior Young Scientist Awards (GEBİP) award. Prof. Dr. Gamze Güney Eskiler has more than 80 studies and 1 patent in the field of cancer biology in journals indexed in SCI/SCI-E index.
Prof. Dr. Gamze Güney Eskiler is working on elucidating the molecular mechanisms that cause drug resistance, determining the therapeutic roles of nanoparticulate drug delivery systems or combination therapy options to overcome drug resistance and cell death mechanisms.

Born in 1976 in Istanbul/Kadıköy, Alev Gürol Bayraktaroğlu completed his secondary education at Ordu/Fatsa High School in 1993. In 2000, she graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In 2002, she was appointed as a research assistant to the Department of Histology and Embryology of the same faculty. In 2006, he received the title of doctor of science. In 2012, she became an Associate Professor and in 2018 she became a Professor at Ankara University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology. Prof. Dr. Alev Gürol Bayraktaroğlu teaches undergraduate and graduate courses. Her main research interests are Mucosal Immune System Histology and Eye System Structures. Prof. Dr. Alev Gürol Bayraktaroğlu served as the Vice Dean of Ankara University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. Prof. Dr. Alev Gürol Bayraktaroğlu is married and has two children.

Born in Alanya, Altuğ Yavaşoğlu graduated from İzmir Atatürk High School in 1988. He graduated from Elazığ Fırat University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. In 1999, he received his doctorate degree from Ege University, Faculty of Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology with his doctoral thesis titled “Investigation of morphological changes in sciatic nerves of locally anesthetized rattus albinus at light and electron microscopic level”. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in 2000, Associate Professor in 2008 and Professor in 2013 at Ege University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Histology and Embryology. Prof. Dr. Altuğ Yavaşoğlu has over 50 international publications and 8 scientific awards given by various associations and institutions. Prof. Dr. Altuğ Yavaşoğlu teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on Cytology, Basic Histology, Respiratory and Endocrine systems, Experimental Animal Models. His main research interests are toxicology, cell culture, stem cell, cancer biology, regenerative medicine. Prof. Dr. Altuğ Yavaşoğlu, who is currently the Head of the Department, is married and has one child.

Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilir
Born in 1980 in Kocaeli-Gebze, Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilir completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 2004 and completed his internal medicine specialty training at Düzce University Faculty of Medicine between 2005-2009. During this period, he completed his rotations in Rheumatology and Hematology at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and then worked as an observer doctor at Cleveland Clinic in the United States in 2009. Dr. Cemil Bilir, who completed his sub-specialty training in Medical Oncology between 2010-2013, received the title of Associate Professor in 2015 and served as the Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine. In order to deepen his academic career, he worked as a visiting faculty member at Northeastern University Center for Pharmaceutical Biotechnology and Nanomedicine in Boston in 2016-2017 and conducted research on liposomal drug delivery systems and IDO inhibitors. Since 2020, Dr. Bilir has been working as a Professor at Istinye University and is currently pursuing his PhD in Chemistry (Inorganic). Her clinical focus areas include urological, gynecological and breast cancers. In her academic studies, she focuses on circulating tumor cells and molecular diagnostic oncology. Dr. Bilir, who has more than 50 international publications and has been the principal investigator in many phase II-III clinical trials, continues his studies on modern immunotherapy and targeted therapies at Istinye University VM Medical Park Pendik Hospital in Istanbul. Prof. Dr. Cemil Bilir is married and has 2 daughters.

Barış Mantoğlu graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 2002. In the same year, after completing his military service in Erzurum Hv.Rd.Mvz:K.Lığı between 2003-2004 after 1 year of compulsory service in Gökçeada State Hospital of the Ministry of Health, he started his general surgery specialty training in 2005 at the General Surgery Clinic of Health Sciences University Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital. In 2010, he became a General Surgery specialist. He was appointed to the Ministry of Health Kahramanmaraş Afşin State Hospital for his compulsory service and served here between 2011-2018. In 2018, he was appointed to the Ministry of Health Sakarya Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic. In 2022, he started as a doctor lecturer at Sakarya University Faculty of Medicine, Department of General Surgery and became an Associate Professor in August 2022. Barış Mantoğlu has many National and International publications and his H-index is 25. According to World Scientist and University Ranking 2025, he ranks 46th among general surgery specialists in Turkey.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seçil AKSOY was born in Bursa in 1988. She graduated from Bursa Uludağ University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology in 2010. In the same year, she started her graduate education at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology. In 2012, she worked as a researcher at the University of Leeds Section of Experimental Oncology, Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine, St. James's University Hospital (Leeds, United Kingdom) for 4 months. In 2013, she completed her master's degree and in the same year, she started her PhD education at Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Biology. In 2014, she was appointed as a research assistant in the same department. In 2019, he completed his doctoral education; He worked as a Dr. Lecturer at Bursa Uludağ University İnegöl Vocational School. In 2021, he was appointed as a Dr. Lecturer, and in 2023 he received the title of Associate Professor. In the same year, he was assigned to Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Medical Microbiology and is still working as a faculty member here. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seçil AKSOY is the founding faculty member of the Multidisciplinary Molecular Biology Laboratory within the Experimental Animal Research and Application Center (DENHAB) of Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine. His research focuses on molecular biology, cancer biology, molecular mechanisms of infectious diseases and translational medicine. He is the coordinator of two projects within the scope of the Gilead ’Ideas that Come to Life“ call and is the winner of the first prize awarded by the Trust Foundation in 2025. He was also awarded the Merit Award at the ESMO TAT Congress held in 2026. In addition, he was awarded the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Turkish Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Congress in 2018, the Poster Third Prize at the Turkish Colon and Rectal Surgery Congress in 2017, the Best Oral Presentation Award at the Transplantation Congress in 2018 and the 1st prize for oral presentation at the Turkish HPB congress held in 2025. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Seçil AKSOY teaches courses related to molecular biology, bacterial genetics and cell biology and works as a researcher in various national and international scientific projects. She is married and has one child.
