Symposium
1st HSMM Symposium
From Basic Science to Clinical Practice in Breast Cancer
Integrated Approaches in Surgery and Oncology
October 16–17, 2026
Registration and payment deadline: October 13, 2026
We look forward to welcoming you to our first symposium, which brings together basic science, surgery, and oncology. We would be delighted to have you join us.
Invitation
Dear Colleagues, Researchers, and Students,
As the Society for Cellular Stress and Molecular Mechanisms (HSMM), we are holding our first symposium “From Basic Science to Clinical Practice in Breast Cancer: Integrated Approaches Combining Surgery and Oncology” We are excited to be hosting the event, titled [Title], on October 16–17, 2026.
Findings from the basic sciences regarding breast cancer shed light on a broad spectrum of topics, ranging from diagnosis to personalized treatment and surgical decision-making processes. At our symposium, by bringing together the fields of basic science, surgery, and oncology, we aim to jointly evaluate how these findings translate into clinical practice.
With contributions from our expert speakers in the field, the program will cover scientific advancements affecting tumor biology and its microenvironment, treatment-guiding biomarkers, molecular diagnostic methods, liquid biopsy, new drug candidates, and scientific developments influencing surgical approaches will be discussed. Our program will conclude with a panel discussion on the impact of basic science findings on the daily management of breast cancer.
To share our knowledge and experience, strengthen scientific interaction across different disciplines, and lay the groundwork for new collaborations, we invite all our colleagues, researchers, and students to join us at our first symposium.
We would be delighted to have you join us.
